Multiplier Event Latvia, 18.03.2023

On March, 18, 2023 EURICA multiplier event was held themed in line with the project ‘Europe Ritual Cuisine - Digital Presentation and Preservation ''
Target audience were estimated both the project direct target group ( museum and culture organisation workers), which were particularly invited to the theoretical part of the event, and general public, which were informed about projects contribution to the cultural heritage preservation trough digital documentation of ritual recipes in practical part of the event.
The event was attended by 80 participants, from cultural organisations, higher education institutes as well as industry representatives. .
The Multiplier events and the EURICA -project as a whole, were very well received by the participants. Particular interest was expressed regarding the EURICA learning platform.

The multiplier event had two main components. The first part was focused on providing a theoretical presentation of the project's purpose, outcomes, and an overview of digitalization principles in the sector of intangible cultural heritage, with a specific focus on ritual recipes. The second part of the event was more practical in nature, with a demonstration of the EURICA learning platform and workshops dedicated to Easter egg dyeing process and digitalization activities.
The objectives of the event was to reach the target groups to be involved in the project exploitation phase; to promote the project results reached, to continue the communication with project target groups, to investigate the familiarity with the digitalization technology applied . It was also aimed at identifying the long term beneficiaries and different target groups interested in the project outcomes and to reach the local and national key-actors and stakeholders interested in the building of the EURICA network. The agenda of the event included such topics as: ‘'Overview of digitalization skills for the 21st century cultural heritage sector '' ''Presentation of the training content and course benefits’’
Multiplier event was an essential part of the projects dissemination plan, as the participants obtained information about the project's research and findings, gain new insights into the ritual recipes digitization topic addressed by the project, met and networked with other stakeholders, and explore opportunities for collaboration and future work. In this way multiplier event raised awareness of the project and its outcomes, reached a broader audience, and create impact beyond the project's immediate stakeholders.
