The Pro Loco of Priverno and its first transnational experience

Always active in the area with events and reception points, the Pro Loco of Priverno looks to the future and to Europe. "With the EuRiCa project - they explain from the association - a new programmatic season is inaugurated in which we will try to work both on the territory and to bring the privernate context into a broader sphere, actively participating as an associated partner. The project, funded by the European Union as part of the Erasmus + project and lasting two years, therefore from 2020 to 2022, aims to contribute to the conservation of European ritual cuisine, as well as the traditions connected to it ".

“Digitization processes of ritual recipes integrated in the European virtual cultural space will be used, promoting them in a long-term perspective. A methodological framework for the training of cultural operators will be further developed. The aim is to provide all Pro Loco and wine associations with the tools necessary to create a path that sees digital and Europe as a new exhibition space for culture.

Erasmus + projects use a structured organizational network, training and communication programs which aim to make the method replicable and to operate in such a way as to allow the rediscovery of the territory. A cooperation with a well-structured partnership through associations and entities from Bulgaria, as leader, from Portugal and Austria, from Latvia and from Italy, with the shared aim of restoring that concept of authenticity and sustainability to the ritual foods that identify each culture of each territory. And this was the reason why the Pro Loco of Priverno was identified as an associated partner of the project ”.
